This size is not suitable for heavy, large-form Monsteras such as Deliciosa, Variegata, or Thai Constellation. Under that kind of weight, the structure may fail. For those plants, choose L or XL instead.
Meet the Banyan moss pole set — a sculptural support system created for climbing houseplants that deserve more than a plain stake. Designed for species that naturally reach upward, this set helps guide growth while turning the support itself into part of the display. The openwork surface gives aerial roots room to attach, while the clean cylindrical form keeps the plant looking organized as it matures.
The name Banyan comes from the tree known for its cascading aerial roots and intertwined, architectural growth. Instead of straight, repetitive lines, the Banyan design follows a more natural rhythm: branching openings, flowing contours, and a structure that feels grown rather than manufactured. It is meant to echo the way plants expand in nature — climbing, connecting, and wrapping themselves into living forms. That is the idea behind this design: a moss pole that does not fight the plant visually, but looks like it belongs with it.
This set includes the moss pole, a dedicated watering dripper, and a stable base system to keep everything in place inside the pot. Together, these elements support stronger vertical growth, easier maintenance, and a cleaner overall presentation. Suitable for philodendrons, pothos, monstera, and other climbing aroids, the Banyan set combines practical plant care with a more organic visual language.
Why does your plant need moss pole?
Many climbing plants are not meant to trail endlessly. In their natural habitat, they grow upward by attaching themselves to trees and rough surfaces. A moss pole recreates that support indoors, giving aerial roots something to grip and encouraging the plant to develop in a more natural way. This usually means better leaf size, stronger structure, and more controlled growth.
A moss-filled support also helps hold moisture around the root zone near the stem, which can be beneficial for plants that rely on aerial rooting. Beyond the biological function, a moss pole also improves the overall look of the plant by keeping it upright, shaped, and visually balanced.
Modular design
The Banyan moss pole is built as a modular system. Each module has a fixed height, and additional sections can be stacked as your plant grows. Instead of replacing the whole setup later, you simply extend it when needed. This makes the system easier to adapt over time and more practical for long-term plant care.

Three base options are available, depending on your pot and plant size:
- Anchor — best for larger plants and maximum stability. This option requires repotting and places the moss pole in the center of the pot.
- Displaced anchor — offers the same stability as the standard anchor, but positions the moss pole closer to the edge of the pot.
- Stake — a simpler option for smaller plants, with no repotting required.
Anchor base size can be customized. Please choose the correct option before adding the set to your cart.

We recommend leaving approximately 1 cm of the Anchor above the soil line for two reasons:
- It helps prevent the moss from sitting directly against the soil, which reduces the risk of rot.
- The parts are made from biodegradable PLA. Constant contact with warm, moist soil speeds up decomposition, especially in thinner areas of the structure.

If your pot is taller than the maximum Anchor height available, you can solve it in one of two ways:
- Install the Anchor without burying it to the full depth.
- Add an extra anchor column to increase the height and match your pot more precisely.
The set also includes a dedicated dripper designed to keep the moss evenly moist for longer, making regular watering more efficient and helping the support stay functional between waterings.
Bring colors to life: moss poles in vibrant shades
Banyan is available in nine color options, so you can match your pole to your planter, your interior, or the character of the plant itself. Whether you want it to blend in quietly or stand out as part of the composition, there is a shade for that.

If you need a different color, custom requests may also be possible. Contact us before ordering.
Choose the Right Set for You
Select the size that matches your plant's current stage and future growth. If you already have sphagnum moss, choose the set without it. If not, you can order a version that includes everything needed to get started. Be sure to enter the correct base dimensions so the system fits your pot properly.
Because the design is modular, you are not locked into one final configuration. Additional modules and components can be added later, making it easy to expand, replace, or fine-tune your setup over time.
Eco-Friendly Production
Each Banyan moss pole is made to order using biodegradable PLA, a plant-based bioplastic, and produced with precision 3D printing. This method reduces unnecessary waste, allows for complex forms that would be difficult to manufacture traditionally, and supports small-batch production without excess stock. The result is a functional plant support made with a lower-impact production approach.

Preguntas Frecuentes
